A Personal Trainer is more than a motivator

A good personal trainer delivers safe, effective, fun and interesting workouts (in that order) to all fitness-training clients. The training programs developed should be varied and progressive, and geared toward improving clients' health and wellness. In addition we should be enthusiastic and supportive, to our clients remain interested and stimulated, which helps ensure they stick with the program — and with us.
Always remember when choose a personal trainer you are not only choosing a professional but also the person you want to help you with goals you can not reach by yourself so think of someone you can trust and motivate, energize and inspire you beyond fitness routine.

Knowledge

Knowledge of human anatomy and the concepts of functional exercise, basic nutrition and basic exercise science

An ability to design individual and group exercise programs tailored to the needs and attainable goals of specific clients

Assessment

An ability to conduct and understand the need and importance of screening and client assessment, initially and progressively

Safety

An ability to execute individual fitness program design in a safe and effective way

A desire to help clients reach their health and fitness goals through appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercise.

An ability to motivate others to improve their overall fitness and health aswell as a dedication to maintaining personal integrity and your own health and fitness.

What is a personal trainer?

By definition: a personal fitness trainer is a fitness professional possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise and fitness program design, instruction and assistance for the purpose of reaching personal health and fitness goals. So he is much more than a guy delivering routine exercises being someone could change your lifestyle forever:

  • Giving you realistic goals without space for promises, just hard & smart workout. "We don't do miracles"
  • He adapts the workouts to the clients
  • Will let you know time you train together probably is not enough and you have to take care of your diet and rest time to optimize your performance and results with his help
  • Customize the sessions setting up your goals together with you whatever they are. Something is wrong if you do the same session 10 times in a row
  • Will make you feel better at mental, emotional and physical level. Training adds discipline, commitment and responsibility.
  • Will not allow you to fall into the monotony and boredom. Variety and diversity are essential in the training sessions to make as pleasant and entertaining as possible while achieving goals
  • Taking care of you between training days keeping contact and following up
  • Values his time and especially yours. Therefore is punctual and tries to squeeze the session to the fullest
  • Creating the healthy habits in you and the need to exercise chasing the main goal for a Personal Trainer: finally one day client can continue exercising on his own
